Description:  Can you imagine being 80 years old with severe heart disease? Now can you imagine walking 5 blocks to the bus stop so you can travel to the Vernon J. Harris Medical Center? Many patients in our community do not have a car and are unable to ride the bus because they are ill, elderly, and/or handicapped. Your generous donation will allow us to purchase a handicapped van so we can provide transportation for these patients.
